On Today’s episode of The Spa Dr. Podcast, we’re discussing fertility, hormones and your skin.
My guest is Dr. Katie Rose who is a licensed naturopathic physician in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ and has practiced in Tucson since graduation. She’s also an instructor of Western Internal Medicine courses at the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Rose is passionate about helping patients get to the root cause of hormone imbalances and build their families in the healthiest way possible.
In the interview, we discuss the root causes that are similar to both skin issues and infertility, and Dr. Rose shares a naturopathic approach to treating infertility for both men and women. We cover how hormones and your skin are inherently linked and how you can pay attention to those details.
So please enjoy this interview…

Hello, I very much enjoyed your podcast about Infertility. My daughter is 31 years old and has a pituitary microadenoma for quite a few years now that she knows of, which I believe is the cause of her amenorrhea. She had only one natural period on her own when she was 15, and for a time was put on bioidentical hormones to bring a period on. Do you know of anything to help her get her period if the pituitary microadenoma is likely the cause? Thank you so very much.
This is a very specific question and would best be answered by a naturopathic physician or functional medicine doctor specializing in fertility.
