Who doesn’t want to have energy all day long? We don’t want spurts of energy, and we don’t want to rely on stimulants to keep us going. That’s why I invited my friend Yuri Elkaim on the show today. Yuri is an “energy nutritionist,” a health and fitness expert, and author of The All-Day Energy Diet. He’s also a former pro soccer player and served as the strength and conditioning and nutrition coach at the University of Toronto for seven years. He says he’s on a mission to transform the lives of more than 10 million people by 2018. Let’s find out how he plans to do that!
Talking With Yuri Elkaim
On the show, Yuri Elkaim shares what he has found to be the best and the worst foods for your energy. He also provides ways to make vegetables taste good, and great tips to boost your energy (some of these might surprise you!). We also discuss the pH of blood and if we can get all of the nutrients we need from food alone or if we need to take supplements. Yuri Elkaim is able to provide great insight into how health and nutrition impact our daily lives. Our bodies respond to what we eat in different ways, so understanding how you can use food to benefit your daily life will put you ahead before you know it. When we begin treating food as fuel, our bodies naturally shift to power themselves in the best way possible. It is possible to live a life without stimulants because a healthy diet alone is meant to provide energy.
I bet you’re ready to find out about all day energy.
